Current special offer- no sitting fee for your maternity session when you book with us for your newborn shoot.
Prints and products still chargable.
Extraordinary portraits to capture the beauty and awe of pregnancy.
Do have a look at the gallery page for an idea of some of the work I produce. If you have any ideas yourself don't hesitate to get in touch.
You don't have to do it by yourself... Including your partner and your new childs siblings is a fantastic idea whether as support through the shoot or to be in the
photographs with you we do amazing couples or individual shots, nude, semi nude and fully clothed poses that
Full editing is included with all our photography, so a couple of stretch marks is no problem to reduce or edit away entirely, please let me know your preference on editing. Occasionally I have been asked to remove peoples piercings as well and am happy to do so in post production.
I bring the studio to you in your own home, I will do everything I can for you to make the experience as comfortable, relaxed and fun as possible.
The in home studio sessions usually include 2-3 different backgrounds and I come with a range of outfits/ props/ fabrics all ideal to use during the shoot.
If you prefer a location shoot that's not a problem either, you can wear your own clothes, or I have some lovely outfits ideal for out door wear, and will be adding more over the coming year. We can discuss colour combinations and locations for your session in advance of the date.
I recommend that the best time for these photo shoots to take place is between around 7 and 8 months, this allows your bump to be in full bloom, but does not leave it till the very last minute. Don't miss out on these beautiful portraits by leaving it too late. Often expectant mums book in around the time of their 20 week scan for maternity portraits and booking their newborn session at the same time.
Print pricing for maternity shoots is the same as a portrait session so please refer to the family portraits and prices section.
The sitting fee for a maternity shoot is £50.
Milk bath sessions are an additional £25 to cover the cost of extra equipment on the day including the provision of flowers, milk products/ substitutes. Please get in touch for a free consultation prior to your session this can take place online or in person and provides the opportunity to discuss preferred outfit styles, flowers needed for milk baths, and any poses you would like to try and re-create if you have something special in mind.
Milk bath sessions are usually added on to the end of the photo shoot and take place in your own bath tub, I bring the necessary kit, don't worry about small bathrooms etc as much of the surroundings are generally edited out of images.
These shoots are available to those with allergies too, there are milk product alternatives, though it does leave your skin lovely and soft afterwards it can be a little smelly, so it's best to plan a shower or a proper bath after these sorts of shoots, especially as your hair will probably end up wet too.
During your pre shoot consultations we can discuss flower choices and I will discuss choices of flowers and colours with the florrist to get the best options to match for you.
I do have fabrics and outfits that can be worn during these sessions as well, so we can do nude, and semi nude poses.
My ever growing collection of outfits and equipment now allows for location maternity sessions with some beautiful dresses.
Great for couple shots and family poses too, getting outside and it's just fantastic capturing the season along with your growing family and amazing figure- shh! It is amazing! No matter how big or uncomfortable you feel I think pregancy is just incredible! And I hope that shines through in the photos.
Be daring, be amazing, be a mother and celebrate that time. It's not always easy, I know full well it can be damn painful as I suffered terrible pgp in my last pregnancy, but it is also a truly amazing time in your life, when your body is doing the most phenomenal things. These photos may or may not take pride of place on your walls, but they will take pride of place in your heart.
